AgGateway Successes
Since being founded in 2005, AgGateway has provided the means for the agriculture industry to make great strides in eConnectivity, such as:
  • Crop Protection
    75% of industry order-to-invoice, inventory and sales reporting transactions between manufacturers and distributors are now electronic. There is movement in Canada for Canadian companies to also connect with the order-to-invoice processes.
  • Seed
    eConnectivity has been established among 4 distributors and retailers and 4 manufacturers for shipping, invoicing and reporting; 20 companies are now involved in Phase II of the connectivity process, which includes the same messages as well as price sheet, seed bookings and orders.
  • Crop Nutrition
    eConnectivity for contracts, ordering, shipping, shipment status and invoicing was completed among 4 distributors and 4 manufacturers; 10 companies now involved in Phase II to expand the same messages to more trading partners.
  • RFID
    Standards and guidelines have been developed for radio frequency ID implementation.
  • Additional projects ongoing
    Additional projects ongoing for eConnectivity in feed, precision agriculture, fertilizer tonnage reporting, XML remittance advice, germplasm, trait & treatment reporting, and many other projects.
