Scott Nieman, Expert Enterprise Integration Architect at Land O’ Lakes, presented a session on “AgGateway Standards Update Enabling Food Traceability” in August at the AgroFuse.io Harvest virtual conference, sponsored by IoT Fuse.
Nieman described key AgGateway activities such as the creation and use of open source technology for farm implement integration; where supply chain meets field operations for food traceability; and on-going efforts to link disparate as-planted, as-applied and as-harvested ag data residing in multiple cloud platforms for data exchange and ag tech application integration enabling better agricultural insights for the farmer.
