Our region’s membership continues to gather in August as we look toward the launch of another production season. On 1 August, AGCO hosted a meeting of AgGateway members in Campinas, where the challenges of data interoperability in the grain production process for Girassol Sementes (sunflower) were addressed, as well as ongoing projects in the region.
Also shared was an update on the Working Group for Climate Data, and the creation of another group to further increase the use of ADAPT among members and businesses in the region. We also had the institutional presentation of member Varda with its new initiative, and of our most recent member Avance Hub.
On 8-10 August, we will have in São Paulo/SP the biggest and most important event of the distribution of inputs industry in Brazil, the ANDAV Congress, promoted by our member ANDAV. I will be on hand to represent AgGateway, prospect new members, and gain insights into industry trends.
