ARA Brazil Mission Offers Opportunity to Learn, Connect

The Agricultural Retailers Association (ARA) is offering its members the opportunity to engage with retailers and trading partners in Brazil this summer, and we are reaching out to encourage AgGateway members who also belong to ARA to consider attending this mission.

The Mission is the next step in ARA’s evolving multi-year relationship with ANDAV, its sister association in Brazil. Set for this August, members are invited to join an educational tour to Brazil to visit some of these agribusinesses in person and to attend the ANDAV Congress, its annual meeting.

AgGateway is pleased to be participating in the program through Latin America Director Jose Loyola, who will be in attendance along with many AgGateway LATAM members. “This is a unique opportunity to meet and engage with Brazil’s largest and most progressive retail organizations and share ideas,” says Loyola. “AgGateway Latin America is highly active and engaged, and we welcome our fellow members from the United States to learn and network.”

There are two itineraries set for the event, which both include attendance at the ANDAV Congress:

  • 10-Day Itinerary: Choose the longer 10-day itinerary from Aug. 5-15 if you have the time and want to see more of the country, including some stops in southern Brazil.
  • 5-Day Itinerary: The shorter 5-day itinerary from Aug. 5-9 is available if your calendar cannot accommodate a 10-day trip.

Some of the tour participants will have an opportunity to be on a panel for the ANDAV Congress and share insights and opinions with our peers in South America’s largest economy.
