A Three-Session Deep Dive at the Annual Conference

After the 2022 Annual Conference, some members approached us about expanding the available opportunities for training at our in=person events on the implementation and use of the Ag Industry Identification System (AGIIS). We’re always open to member suggestions, and thrilled that we have been able to create and deliver enhanced AGIIS learning sessions, starting with the Mid-Year Meeting this past June.

We’ve gone even farther on AGIIS training for the Annual Conference in Nashville. Member Services is pleased to announce that we are offering an educational series – AGIIS 101, 201, and 301 – with each session building upon the first. Here is an overview of the AGIIS training series:

  • AGIIS 101-This education session will provide an overview of AGIIS functionality and services provided. We will also discuss any new enhancements and modifications made in 2023. This session is recommended for individuals that are new to AGIIS and are looking to increase their knowledge of entity and product identification.
  • AGIIS 201 - This educations session takes attendees on a deeper dive of the AGIIS database, focusing on subscriber profile management, user management, tips and tricks for entity search, adds and updates, and best practices for a successful user experience.
  • AGIIS 301 - This session will focus on products in the AGIIS Directory. Attendees will learn how AGIIS supports product enumeration, industry visibility and data extraction. We will share best practices for adding and updating products and provide resources to help users maintain their product subset.

In addition to these AGIIS education sessions, Member Services will be on hand to help answer your questions about AgGateway membership, AGIIS Subscriptions, working group activities, and finding and using AgGateway resources. The Member Services team is here to help, so please come by and find us next to the registration table.
